07 April 2021 -
We’re excited to share part three of our latest design today: The Arizona Homestead Project!
So far, we’ve shared the Kitchen & Primary Suite, and the Exterior, Entry, & Dining Room. Today, we’re diving into the Kids Spaces!
Filled with pattern, texture, and playful details, these spaces are as cozy as they are charming. To see all of the details, watch our webisode below and keep scrolling for more!
The Lounge Area
This space that leads into the kid’s bedrooms is complete with a cozy sectional, lounge chairs, and a big, inky blue built-in perfect for late-night movies and early morning cartoons.

The Girls Room
Our clients had two girls sharing a room, and we knew this was the perfect space to play with patterns and charming details. We incorporated two white spindle beds and one large nightstand to anchor the look and offset the symmetry.
Try this at home: Mixing and matching patterns is all about working with a cohesive color palette. Pull tones from your pattern for solid pieces to ground the look, and don’t be afraid to experiment!
I think that the obvious answer after doing floral wallpaper would have been to do something completely different on the artwork above the beds, but I love that we leaned into the look even more with these botanical charts.

The Nursery
We brought their existing crib to life in the nursery by adding in all new surroundings. Starting with a board and batten wall treatment and a built-in window seat, we brought this room to life with simple, textural details and a muted color palette.
In the bathroom, we went with a black and white motif on everything from the tile to the faucet detail to contrast the warm wood vanity.
