The Sunday 7: Back to School

No. 1. First Day of School 

I can hardly believe how fast the summer flew by, but we sent the girls back to school this week and are finding our new groove. It’s so bittersweet to watch them walk through the doors on that first day of a new year.  Had to snap that obligatory first day pic and Margot just couldn’t be left out. 

No. 2. Arlo 

Syd and I took ourselves out on a little date to a new-to-us restaurant here in Salt Lake. Arlo was delicious! The menu changes regularly and I’m already looking forward to going back. 

No. 3. Make Life Beautiful 

This past week we shared a convo with artist Joy Kinna. This was an especially fun feature as we are sharing exclusive artwork from Joy at McGee & Co. Her art is so inspiring and calming, and I loved reading about the beginning of her artistic career. 

No. 4. Favorite Dress 

I wore this dress in NYC and I have been wearing it non-stop. It is seriously my ideal version of the LBD. I can add a belt, dress it up or down, and it is the perfect thing to wear during these still-hot summer days and nights.  

No. 5. A Step in the Skincare Routine 

If there’s one thing I have learned in my 30’s, it’s that retinol and vitamin C are two of my best friends. I have been using and loving this retinol lately – it is so gentle and never sent my skin through that rough adjustment phase that most retinols demand.  

No. 6. The Summer Party 

The SM party was earlier this summer, but we recently got photos back and I just had to share. Jordan Batt with Jordan Bree Photography did such a great job capturing images of everyone there and I just love how they turned out!
