The Sunday 7

1. Happy Halloween from a mama pirate and her parrot! The costume I had planned for Margot was a last minute fail, so we threw on a headband and called it a night. I laugh every time I see her cute round head in those feathers.

2. Every week is a busy week these days, but this one was especially so. A home we have been working on for quite some time is starting to really take shape in the framing stage. This project is special as it’s for a family that hired me when I was still living in San Clemente and just starting out. This project is much, much larger and the property is incredible.

3. We shot half of our basement this week! It gets dark in there pretty easily and we ran out of light, so we’ll be back for more. Plus, the mural wallpaper for the guest bedroom quite literally just landed on my doorstep and will be installed soon! Until the tour happens next year (sorry, I know…) enjoy this peek!

4. As we move toward working from our new office a couple days a week, I bought this laptop case and am loving it! The leather is so soft and the best part is that it has a zip pouch integrated into the front that fits my charger.

5. Syd and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary earlier this week! We prefer to take trips instead of exchanging gifts. This year, between having a new baby and filming, we opted for a quick staycation here in Park City. It was so great!  (I linked my jeans and coat on instagram and they sold out quickly, so I’ve linked similar options below!)

6. I go in phases with lipstick color – I’m either wearing nude colors or going for a bold lip. Right now, I’m very into the berry hues.  I’ve been rotating the Blue Raspberry and Telluride, both of which are 25% off right now. I’m loving them because they definitely have pigment, but it’s not too intense for everyday wear.
