The Sunday 7: Our Labor Day and a Favorite Product

No. 1. Celebrating Labor Day 

We had a wonderful long weekend together earlier this week. We stayed local and spent a lot of time in the pool surviving the record-setting heat! We set up a backyard movie and enjoyed the last of these long, warm summer nights. 

No. 2. An Upcoming Project 

This one is still a surprise, and my lips are kind of sealed, but we shot an upcoming project, and I am elated about it. It is something I have used and loved for years, and this collaboration is a dream come true!  

No. 3. Target Reviews 

The team and I got together to go over the upcoming Threshold x Studio McGee collections. I love to get into this step of the process and seeing our design visions start to take shape with each collection is so fulfilling! Here are a few of my favorite products in stock online right now!  

No. 4. My Favorite Tee 

This tee has been on heavy repeat, and I am not mad about it! Comfy, goes with everything, and maintains its shape after washing. Miiiight just need one in every color.  

No. 5. Merit  

There are certain days that require I wear a bit more makeup than usual, but for my chasing around kids, running errands, or heading to the gym looks, I consistently reach for Merit options. I love the lightweight, natural finish of each of their products. My personal faves (and ones you will likely always find in my bag) are the Brow 1980, Flush Balm, and Lip Slick.

We sat down to chat with Rita Donahoe and shared all of her insight here – if you haven’t had a chance to catch up, definitely do! Rita has a beautiful eye and her designs are so calming and inspiring. 

No. 7. An Upcoming Birthday 

Syd has a birthday coming up and the girls and I are getting ready to celebrate our favorite guy! It will surely involve a baked good and maybe another kitchen appliance to add to his collection, haha.
