No. 1. Our Annual Pie Night

One of my favorite traditions this time of year is Pie Night! We host friends and family the evening before Thanksgiving and I spend way too much time baking and then cleaning the kitchen in preparation, but it’s totally worth it. We love to welcome people into our home and kick off the holiday season!

No. 2. A New Holiday Recipe

In honor of pie night, I tried out this Brown Sugar Maple Cookie Pie recipe from Half-Baked Harvest. It was a hit!

No. 3. The Studio McGee Holiday Party

Our company holiday party was this weekend, and I can hardly believe another year has gone by so quickly. Fun to celebrate the year with the whole team and see everyone decked out – I even brought out the sequins.

No. 4. And Looking Ahead to Spring

With all the holiday happenings, we’re still working away at plans for the upcoming year. We had a shoot for the spring collection in the warehouse and I’m already very ready for the warmer days to return and for these pieces to launch!

No. 5. A Festive Pop of Color

I recently received this set from Merit, and I am loving it all. I have been loving their Bronze Balm (I use shade Seine) and the sun-kissed glow it gives, and the highlighter called Day Glow is perfect for adding shimmer to your holiday party look. The lipstick is just the right shade for the season, but the best part of this limited-edition holiday set might be the packaging – it makes the perfect gift! No. 6. And a Favorite Look for the Holidays

We shared some of our holiday outfits on the site this past week, too. I love a hint of sparkle, or a cozy knit paired with an unexpected shoe. And the Johnson coat remains one of my favorites – a timeless staple that pulls together just about any look.
