High-impact stone is having a moment—
—and we’re loving it. Sometimes the impact is made through less commonly utilized marbles, like Viola or Rosso Levanto (see McGee & Co.’s Donatello Side Table), and their deep, colorful veining, or stones with loads of texture like travertine. Other times you’ll see commonly used stones in a different configuration, like the chunky ball feet of McGee & Co.’s Posie Marble Bowl. We love how these stone moments can come in full furniture pieces or an object meant for display. Here, some of our most statement-stone moments of the past and a look at what we’ll be seeing more of in the future.
