Inside the Trend | Fringe
The same trends seem to have a way of coming back again and again, and fringe is no exception as it has had some big moments in history. Today we are talking about a more subtle and sophisticated version. In talking about trends Shea shares, “I have been seeing a lot of fringe in fashion and design, and I don’t think it is going away any time soon. I have noticed it at the bottom of sofas, ottomans, skirts, and jackets to name a few. In design terms I think fringe is a really fun way to add a more dressed-up yet playful look to a space.” Currently we are loving this tweed jacket from Anthropologie that has a beautiful and classic fringe detail, At McGee & Co. we have a plethora of fringe from pillows to artwork, and don’t forget a crowd favorite the Astrid Fringe Stool.
