How to Style Trays

A storage staple that's equally as stylish.

Ahh we love a good tray styling moment. They’re often thought of as a storage staple, more function than form. Let us assure you that that’s not the case. In past Studio McGee projects and McGee & Co. collection shoots, Shea and the design team have used trays in a variety of ways, from outfitting a bench at the foot of a bed to finishing the styling elements of an entryway console table. You can have them as a place to drop your keys or as a styling element to wrangle a stack of books and a candle. We like to think of trays as the workhorse of home design styling. Here, nine different ways, from a sideboard to a window seat, you can style your home with the help of trays.
