We’re ending the week with another beautiful video home tour! This project brought us to sunny California! Our clients raised a family in this ranch-style home and felt it was ready for a big update. We wanted to create a home that felt warm and inviting, perfect for entertaining.

The Front Door, Entry, Sitting Room & Dining

We wanted to create a classic coastal vibe from the start. We used warm woods throughout the whole space, and used elements like the paneled walls and textured lamp as a nod to the beach.

The homeowners were lucky enough to have enough space for a sitting room between the entry and sining room. We love that there’s a spot to hang out and chat while waiting for dinner.

We carried the wood elements into the dining room with beams and a reclaimed table. The paneling is subtle and beautiful.

The Living Room & Kitchen

When you walk past the entry and go straight into the home, you’ll enter the living room! We didn’t want to overdo it with the blue tones, so we used other coastal textures in the rugs and furniture and tones like mauve.

We contrasted metals in the kitchen, and created a work station inspired island.

The Guest Wing

Our client is often a host, remember? We needed a guest suite that her kids and their families could comfortably stay.

We created a space that would work as an office and a lounge-area for the grandkids.
