In the fourth, of five, webisodes featuring our Hilltop Estate Project, Shea leads us through the home’s relaxed outdoor spaces—alfresco living and dining, as well as a detached pool house for guests and entertaining. Oversized sliding glass doors guarantee a pristine indoor-outdoor experience, a perfect pairing for SoCal’s year-round sunny weather, and mature olive trees bring the Napa-inspired feel the clients requested. “This entire home is designed around the backyard space, [with the] pool the central focus. We have black steel windows that tie in with the dark siding on the pool house. I love that it’s a stark contrast but still feels really connected to the main home.”
