The Sunday 7: The Start of February
No. 1. Our next Target collection
This week we shot our next collection with Target and it’s another good one! I can’t share too much yet, but here’s a little glimpse into what we have been working on:
No. 2. Back to California
It was a mix of interviews for Netflix, design time with our team, and then it was back to California to film and check on another project! We are remodeling a kitchen in Southern California for the nicest family and the progress is looking so good.
No. 3. More spring
A few more pieces from the McGee & Co. spring collection have finally arrived (thank you, covid-induced shipping delays!). I love the hand-stamped quality of this tablecloth – it was the star of the show from our spring collection photoshoot, too; so fresh and pretty!
No. 4. Fashion inspiration from my dad
It feels very ironic to me that staying relevant in terms of style means dressing like a 90’s dad, lol. But, I have to admit, I’m liking it! I’ve been pairing thick white socks with chunky sneakers, and a favorite pair of joggers or leggings for an on-trend take on athleisure.
No. 5. Never enough lip gloss
Don’t try to tell me I have too many lip glosses, because I just don’t believe that can be true! I’ve been loving this particular clear option lately; it’s not sticky or overly glossy, just adds a touch of shine over every color.
No. 6. Valentine’s Day gifts
We shared our Valentine’s Day gift guides and I’m definitely adding some of these picks to my cart for Syd, the girls, and some of my galentines.
No. 7. Tinge Floral
Speaking of Valentine’s Day, we’re going to be sharing a date-night-inspired floral arrangement by Tinge later this week and I cannot wait. Her work is always so beautiful and inspiring, and who can’t use a winter pick-me-up in the form of flowers this time of year?!
