The Sunday 7: Tennis Matches & Target Shopping

Game, set, match.

No. 1. Tennis with the family

The girls and I headed up to Midway for a little friendly game of tennis with my mom. The girls love any opportunity to play, but they were definitely happy to end the afternoon with a snack; no doubt, they take after their dad, haha! I recently purchased this tennis skirt and I’m loving it – the fit is great and the pleats are a really cute detail.

No. 2. More basement progress

Our basement projects have been underway for a while, but it’s all wrapping up and the team was able to come snap some photos – the sun was actually out this time!

No. 3. Team McGee Orientation

This past week we had our annual Team McGee kickoff meeting! I look forward to the chance we have to meet with our entire team and talk about our successes from the year before and our goals for the upcoming year. It’s a chance to share the vision for the year with everyone, and I am really excited about what’s in store for 2022.

No. 4. Shopping at Target

We filmed a segment of shopping at Target for one of the Dream Home Makeover projects and it was so much fun! Finding and incorporating a balance of high and low is so important to me, both in design and my own style.

No. 5. A summer glow in the winter

I have been loving this bronzer! Blends as beautifully as a much more expensive fan favorite, but for a fraction of the cost. I love that it adds just a little sun-kissed glow to my daily look without feeling heavy or cakey.

No. 6. JP Morgan & WPO award

I am so honored to have been named one of the top five fastest-growing women-owned/led companies in 2021! I recently sat on a panel with other exemplary women who made the list to answer questions about the growth of our companies and advice we would offer others looking to found or grow their businesses. And to think, just a handful of years ago I was the only employee designing out of a spare bedroom.

No. 7. Valentine’s Day

The day is tomorrow! The girls love the excuse to celebrate and I’m looking forward to a quiet date night at home with Syd. But, if we were going out, here’s what I would wear:
