The Sunday 7: A Virtual Showhouse Experience

No. 1. Easter outfits 

It’s that time of year! I can’t resist the chance to put the girls in matching dresses and no time is better than Easter! I am eyeing all the soft, feminine, youthful details of these dresses – I’m such a sucker for classic smocking. I definitely have plans to coordinate with them in one of these spring dresses and Syd in a great spring tie. Even though all the coordinating in our family is centered around the girls, I love all the options out there for boys, too!  

No. 2. Aquarium visit 

We took the girls to visit the aquarium (while filming for Dream Home Makeover S.3) this week and they were elated. The penguins stole the show! 

No. 3. A birthday gift hit

We recently celebrated Wren’s birthday and gifted her this mini toaster oven and she has been loving it! Brings back all the memories of my own Easy-Bake Oven days.

No. 4. Sunglasses for spring 

I bought myself a new pair of sunnies while Wren and I were in Vegas (I honestly don’t think anyone can have too many sunglasses – I keep a pair in my car, a pair in each bag… you name it, I have sunnies there!). I love the subtle cat eye shape so much and think it’s a fun yet classic addition to my collection. 

No. 5. Lips 

Marisa Rose does my makeup for the show and she taught me a great trick that I’ve been using for fuller looking lips! I started ever so slightly overlining my lips with a soft pink nude liner, applying lipstick, and then applying a dab of highlighter in my cupid’s bow…and it makes my lips look naturally fuller! 

No. 6. Martha Stewart Living  

Last March I was asked to participate in the Living by Design Virtual Showhouse Experience with Martha Stewart Living and Embello, and the virtual experience was just released! This home is a virtual, collaborative showcase home designed by a curated group of designers and influencers. Take a tour and be sure to pick up the upcoming issue of MSL! 

No. 7. The McGee & Co. Outdoor Collection 

The newest outdoor collection has launched! We love how this collection came together and the images really showcase how special it is – I am SO ready to enjoy some sunny days in our backyard and this new collection has the perfect pieces for doing just that.
