We’re almost in full-summer mode at The McGee Home…
and refreshing our front door look is one of our favorite ways to bring new life to our surroundings.
This year, we kept our Summer front door look simple with a few pieces we can re-arrange and re-style throughout the year as the seasons shift.
Keep scrolling to shop the look and read a few of our go-to tips on how to create a fool-proof front door look in your own space!

No. 1: Ground the look with a doormat
Start by grounding your front door look with an expressional doormat to welcome your guests and catch debris before they end up in your entryway! We love to layer an indoor/outdoor rug underneath a traditional doormat to add more dimension.

No. 2: Add a wreath
Bring life to your front door look with no-maintenance faux greenery that you can keep up year-round or store away for next year! To elevate the look, we love using a gold over-the-door hanger!

No. 3: Layer in planters
We use planters year-round to fill with our favorite seasonal florals and greens. Mixing small, medium, and large sizes will add interest to the look! This year, we filled our pots with Prunus Laurocerasus Luyken (large pot), Mukedenia Rossii, “crimson fans” (medium pot), and Iberis Sempervirens Purity (small pot).

Bravo for the french touch 🇫🇷 Merci 🙏
