The Crestview House: The Guesthouse

Tour this airy, light-filled guest space

14 October 2020 -

Over the last few weeks, we’ve been sharing our latest project, The Crestview House

and today; we’re taking you through the Guest House!

This space is filled with serene tones, dimensional textures, and natural light, and we couldn’t be happier with the result.

We worked with Eric Olsen Design on the architecture and Dagan Design on the construction of this project, and we loved collaborating with them to bring our client’s vision to life.

Watch our webisode tour below, and keep scrolling to shop the look!

The Living Space

It was important to our clients that this part of the home had a relaxed yet elevated feeling, and the living space is a perfect expression of that idea.

We did a plaster fireplace, white shiplap ceilings, and mixed the upholstery with wood and leather textures to complete the look.

Our Hale Sofa takes the streamlined details of mid-century modern and adds in luxurious comfort – making the most of both form and function. Its raised base, on tapered legs, is crafted from solid oak, proven by a kiln-dried process. A single down wrapped bench seat is complemented with bolster pillows for both sophisticated style and designful comfort. Customize your own Hale Sofa with an array of high-quality fabric choices from velvet to performance crypton.

The Kitchen & Dining Nook

One detail that you’ll see carried out throughout this entire space that really compliments the main home is white and wood tones.

In the kitchen, this is expressed through white oak cabinets, a plaster hood, and minimal, textural details.

“One of my favorite areas of this space is the dining nook. Our client fell in love with this egg drop pendant light, and that set the tone for every other selection that we made in the dining space.”

The Bedroom

In the bedroom, we carried that white and wood motif into the space and kept the color palette very serene and calming with whites, blues, and hints of black to tie in the contrasting details in the dining and living space.
