The Sunday 7: Settling into the New Year

After a little downtime our lives are back in full-swing and busy, busy, busy!

No. 1. Goal and intention setting

I love the fresh start of a New Year and all that comes with it! I’m a big believer in goal setting, and love to pick a word or theme as a family to focus on for the year. This year’s family mantra is smiles for miles. It may sound cheesy, but it has already made a big impact in our home. With so much on our plates at work, home, school, lessons, etc. I found myself deep in focus mode and forgetting to smile. A quick smile (even forced) releases a boost of endorphins and changes the whole mood in our home.

No. 2. Back to filming

We hit the ground running this month and have several days of Netflix filming on the schedule for Dream Home Makeover! I flew to San Francisco this past week, and even though a canceled and then rebooked flight home was not how I anticipated ending my travel day, peeking in on the project made all the headache worth it.

No. 3. New favorite boots

I’ve purchased a few things from Loeffler Randall over the years and I never regret it, these new boots included. They just pull together any look while maintaining comfort, and I know I will wear them on repeat!

No. 5. $20 Sweater

With the calendar filling back up with filming and traveling, it feels so good to wear sweats and work from home! I bought this sweater recently, and it’s a big win for twenty bucks – runs TTS, isn’t scratchy, and has a very flattering v-neck with subtle balloon sleeves.

No. 7. An upcoming launch…

I hear there’s an upcoming Target spring launch later this month, and we’ve seen you sharing some of the pieces you’ve already found in store and they’re so beautiful! I just had to share a few of the photos I’ve seen come across on Instagram the past few weeks, and can’t wait to share all the official details of the launch later this month.
