“Paper cord became an element of furniture design in the 1940s when Danish designers started using it in what would become some of their most iconic pieces. I love employing that time-honored material in modern pieces like this bed. Mixing paper cord with a chunky light oak frame lends itself well to a laidback, earthy aesthetic, creating a bedroom that has that come-on-in vibe.”
