We’re back with more from our Rye, NY, project!
Last week, we showed you the photo tour of the entryway and formal living space, and today we’re covering the great room and dining room!
This open, light-filled space blends styles to create a warm, modern look that we just can’t get enough of. Scroll through to tour the space!

In the dining room, we used the surrounding, L shaped windows as our focal point. There’s not a lot of room for furniture here, which allows the pieces to frame the view beautifully. Uniform chairs and one long linear light created the perfect, minimal yet warm look.

In the main living area, our client really wanted to have a lot of seating without blocking the view, which is a tricky challenge. We made sure to keep the profiles low on the furniture and incorporated a day bed for extra seating and lounging that doesn’t compete with the beautiful lake below.

We were focused on using a lot of textures in this space to add interest because of the intentional lack of color. Blending velvets, shags, tassels, and even some leather varied the feeling of the room without taking away from that overall streamlined look.

"In every single design project, our goal is to take our vision and mesh that with our client's personal style. I'm very proud that this project looks different than our last few projects, but that you can still see the Studio McGee touch in a completely different style."

Hello- Can you tell me where the two (swivel) blush/tan coloured chairs in front of the window are from? I LOVE this project! Kris
I don’t know for sure, but have been shopping for chairs like this for months–I think they are the Gubi Stay Lounge chair.

Such a beautiful room. I’d love to know what the big plant is in the back corner (behind the daybed).
Will the couch pillows be available at McGee & Co soon?
This space is so balanced and beautiful. Where can I find this light fixture? I’ve scoured the internet to find it with no success.
I was asking specifically about the linear light fixture over the dining table.
I love this project! Would you mind sharing the wall paint color used for the Rye New York project?
I am in love with your accessories on the dining table. May I ask where they are from?
Beautiful modern yet still warm home.! Can you share the kitchen cabinet paint color? It is white with out being too bright. We are trying to find one like this that is white with out being too bright.
Thank you
Beautiful house. Can you please share where are the two office chairs from?
In the pictures of the complete project, I am absolutely in love with bedroom that features a blue paisley reversible quilt; it is absolutely gorgeous! Does anyone know where any of those items can be found?
