Relaxed & refined…
the hearth room in our PC Contemporary Project sits at the back of the open-concept floor plan, adjacent to the kitchen, dining nook, dining space, and great room.
Designed in collaboration with Otto/Walker Architects and Craig Construction, this sitting area brings a shapely contrast to the rest of the main floor, offering a relaxed conversation space.

Anchoring the space…
a precast concrete fireplace stands out against vertical paneling along the back wall centering two built-ins for displaying some of our favorite decor. For the rest of the space, we used two of our favorite paint colors: Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore for the walls and Natural Cream by Benjamin Moore for the window trim.

Curved silhouettes…
bring contrast to the home’s sharp contemporary lines. A streamlined floor lamp and a sculptural marble side table offset the symmetry of two curved boucle chairs.

"I love how the curved shapes of the furniture soften all of the clean lines in this space."

Carefully curated…
the decor in this space completes the look, infusing personality to the minimal color palette and tying the materials together.

In this space, I love standing in this hearth room and then looking back through the kitchen and the kitchen nook to the great room; it's one of my favorite views in the whole home."
