after all, it’s likely just as visited by your guests as the kitchen or dining space. At The McGee Home, we’re getting ready for the entertaining season by refreshing our powder bath with a few simple tricks to make our guests feel even more welcome.  

Here are a few ways to get your powder room guest-ready: 

No. 1: Fill a pretty vase with fresh florals or greenery  

There’s nothing that can refresh a space like fresh florals or greenery, especially when placed in a pretty, textural vase. As we get closer to the holidays, this can also be a great way to bring a seasonal element to the powder room with berry or pine branches or sprigs.

No. 2: Bring in fresh scents 

We always like to style designer hand soap and scented accessories in powder bathrooms. Start with elevating your soap, and layer in a beautiful room spray, or even a candle next to a box of matches.

No. 3: Refresh your hand towels  

Last but not least, refresh your hand towels and add a plush, decorative towel to enhance the look and feel of the space. This year, we’re styling soft paper napkins next to our handwashing station for the ultimate sanitary, hotel-like experience.
