“This laundry room is everything to me. It’s classic, it’s beautiful, and it has attention to detail.”

There’s not much more we can say beyond that. This laundry room is one of Shea and our design team’s favorites of all time. The journey starts with the beautiful breezeway leading to it, with black steel windows, a vintage runner, and a cozy “book nook” tucked under the stairs. “Instead of an art piece at the end of the hallway, we decided to do a pedestal and vase so you get these beautiful shadows when the light streams in,” Shea explains. An eclectic gallery wall finishes the space, filling two empty walls with a collection of frames and their accompanying picture lights.
Once in the laundry room, various finishes of Swiss Coffee by Dunn Edwards adorn the walls, trim, and ceiling to give the space some dimension. Soapstone counters, painted wood knobs, small white subway tile, louver closet doors, a farmhouse sink—see every last detail as Shea walks us through the space in webisode three above, as well as the photo tour below.

These spaces are gorgeous! What paint color was used for the laundry room door?
What color are the interior doors? Love the gray color.
