Garden Visions

05 May –

Getting our garden springtime ready with Gardenary and all the other excitement as we head into May.

Green Thumbs

This week, Nicole from Gardenary graciously came to our home to help us get our garden started for the season. Leading up to our gardening day, she had sent a planting guide for each of our garden beds to ensure we were maximizing our space and getting to enjoy the fruits (and vegetables) of our labor all season long. She and I were elbow-deep in soil as we worked on getting everything planted (over 1,000 plants!). We even put up a couple of trellises, which are bringing me so much joy to look at. I cannot wait to see the plants start to crawl up and over and create a beautiful little garden path.

Nicole has shared our planting plans and my favorite picks from Gardenary (use code SHEA for 10% off) which you can find here. Keep an eye out as I share updates on our progress!

May’s Musings

May brings a sense of true spring to Utah with the blossoms and greenery flourishing. I am constantly inspired by natural elements from tones to textures, and this month is no different. I’m feeling drawn to earthy blues, greens, and browns, as well as woven textures and the simple, undulating pattern of alabaster stone. The combination is refreshing and classic and serves as a seamless transition from spring to summer. Brian Paquette’s book Outside In: Interiors Born from Nature fits seamlessly into this month’s inspiration – the cover color alone is stunning! Shop the inspo here and here.

Dressed for Business

With all of this week’s meetings, I felt inspired to bust out my reading glasses. Doing my best to look a little smarter for these big meetings, haha.
