While there are times when a single garland will do the trick, we love mixing multiple pieces to add even more drama and dimension. Even mixing different types of greenery like pine and eucalyptus can go a long way in creating that forest-foraged look.
We love adding ribbons to our greenery to add a hint of texture or color. Plus, it’s a great way to bring some structure to natural greenery! Tying a long, loose bow at the top of a wreath or the end of a garland on a staircase can go a long way!

Adding lights to your garlands (or even wreaths!) is a great way to take the festive feelings up a notch. This year, when our team designed our faux greenery with McGee & Co., we wanted to make sure we had a pre-lit option so that it was as hassle-free as possible, and we couldn’t love it more!
Incorporating bells, ornaments, and natural elements like berries or pinecones, is another great way to elevate your greenery and make it feel personal. Add a little wire or twine, and attach your additions to the wiring of the wreath or directly on the garland, and you have a custom creation!
