Today we’re showing you the bedroom spaces of our Northridge Remodel.
Yesterday was the webisode, and today we’re giving you a better look at each transformation. We’ll start with the master bathroom because it’s our favorite transformation of them all.
Want to see the rest of the space? Here’s the first webisode, the kitchen + nook tour, the entry + dining, and the living spaces.
Before
The before and after transformation of this space is crazy.

After
We carried the color palette from the master bathroom. We reconfigured the entire space, and designed custom vanities and brought in a beautiful black tub. It has a lot of square footage to work with, so we did a herring bone pattern in the floor and carried in to the paneling around the shower. The baseboards are a soft white, and it adds a great layer of warmth that brings out the vintage rug, artwork, and hampers.

The Master Bedroom had an existing bed, so we gave it a fresh look with new linens. We carried the ligh, white, and gray neutral tones from the master bathroom into this space with the grasscloth and accessories. The result is a calming, mature space.

Before
Mudrooms are a total luxury in a home, they have the best opportunity for storage.

After
We kept this one fun! We sued a custom leaf wallpaper and did a coordinating green on the cabinetry, then warmed it up with the wood hooks and bench.

We really played with tone on tone by doing green wallpaper, cabinetry and pillows.

This laundry room was windowless, so we lightened it up with a soft blue green on the cabinets and a polished nickel flush mount.

The nook at the top of the stairs was empty, and we added built-in cabinets and a window seat to create a reading nook. Eclectic pillows on the seat, and artwork in the built-in keep things fun and cozy.

I have been a huge fan of Studio McGee for years! You have done an amazing transformation on the Northridge Remodel!! It is stunning!
I have been searching for the perfect gray/blue or green tile backsplash and it looks like you found it for your Northridge remodel!
I am not sure what the room is called – but it is the last photo on the July 11th post. It has the blue or green subway tiles, gray quartz counters, white cabinets, a sink and wood floor. I am hoping that you can share the manufacturer and color with me. I can’t tell you how much I would appreciate it! 🙂
Best~ Mary
Will you be sharing photos of the girls room?
On monday!
Please give tips on a windowless bathroom!
Like your clean an sleek lines in a background of soft and warm colored walls. I know your to- go wall paint is Swiss white by Ben Moore . Will this color work for contemporary living/ kitchen walls? Thanks.

Where would I be able to purchase the globe light hanging over the tub?
Hello! I looked for the bedroom nightstand at the McGee shop, but couldn’t find it, except in gray. Do you sell it?
We don’t unfortunately!!
Oh! I completely forgot to how stunning this transformation is! Haha! I almost take it for granted now how utterly talented this team is. As far as I’m concerned you are the best design team in the States… everything you create is so beautiful and modern. I can’t even begin to imagine the time, energy and care you put into these projects. Thank you for sharing your talents!
Wow, Kate this is too sweet! Thank you so much for the support and taking the time to write this.
What color is the green in the mud room
Caldwell Green, Benjamin Moore!
I absolutely love this bath transformation! The black and white tub is amazing! Would you share the brand of this tub and where it can be purchased? Thank you!
Hi, beautiful transformations. What paint colors did you use on the walls and trim in the master bathroom?
Love this transformation! the bedroom/bathroom is my favorite! Where are those shades from?
Where can I find the leaf wallpaper? I think it would go well with the terra-cotta floors in our new mud room…..
