Our Northridge Remodel is here!
We’ve been working on this project over the past year, and it was a huge top to bottom project. The finishes before had a lot of columns and frills, so we just needed to take it into this decade. Catch up by watching the webisode, then let’s start with the kitchen transformation. It’s pretty crazy!
Before

After
We got rid of the angles by replacing the peninsula with a substantial island in the center. The ceilings were quite low, so we raised the ceiling and wrapped exposed beams in stained wood that carries into the dining area. The walls are Simply White by Benjamin Moore.

The island design is one of our best yet. We did a waterfall countertop topped with a thick butcher block with open shelves for display and storage. It creates a big wow factor! It’s painted by Midnight Blue by Benjamin Moore.

We decided to place symmetrical floating shelves around the range to create this really great focal point for the space. The upper cabinetry is painted Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore!

The pantry was at an angle, with a swinging door. We decided to flatten it all out and install this custom cabinetry with a fridge as well.

The couple previously owned this beautiful, big round dining table. We added chairs and a convenient glass front cabinet on the open wall.
Our favorite design tip? Add decor to the top of cabinet to make the space feel lived in and alive.
Beautiful home! Can you comment on the type of flooring and stain color?
I love love this kitchen design
Please can you tell me what the color and brand of the lower gray cabinets are?? I’m doing my kitchen remodel and, I’m wanting to create something similar.

Beautiful! The spaces you create always look so grand. It would be interesting if you could sometimes include the room sizes so we could relate them to our own homes. Do you know the approximate size of this kitchen?
I know the table was originally the owners but do you know who makes it?
Not sure, sorry!
Love the light above the kitchen table! Can you please share where to purchase it from? I see that you shared the pendant lights over the island but not the kitchen table. Thanks!

Did you move the separate pantry elsewhere? I may have missed that part, but I saw you said you took out the angle for the new cabinetry and fridge.
Are you able to share what the countertops are? In the market for new ones and this looks beautiful!
Do you know where the cabinet that’s similar to the Lawley came from? It has shelving inside and the door is slightly different. Thanks!
