Mercer Island Project: Guest Bathroom

See how we offset a white kitchen with a custom vanity and cool tile.

We’ve got a new project to show you, and we’re starting with the bathroom!

The star of the show is a custom vanity we designed. We used Benjamin Moore’s Amherst Gray to offset the all-white kitchen.

We added the open shelf on the bottom of the vanity for visual interest, but you can’t beat the storage factor either! This bathroom is next to the guest bedroom on the main floor, so there’s extra toothbrushes, towels, and soap.

We wanted to choose a sconce that felt sleek and modern, to juxtapose with the traditional pattern in the floor. We had room for two sconces on each side of the mirror, and we love how they frame the sink. This light is versatile, and will look good in the space as the owners re-decorate, or change up the styling in the space.

This mirror is similar to the one we used!

Speaking of tile, this one is amazing! It’s composed of three different marbles, and it’s so tightly pressed, there’s no grout. It’s the only place in the home with this much pattern.
