This was a dated remodel that needed an inviting, happy facelift.
We wanted it to be so good, the owners would WANT to do laundry! Here’s a webisode, and a photo tour!

Before

After
The first thing you notice is the beautiful cabinet color, a green gray by Benjamin Moore (stoney brook).

The cubbies are great for styling and storing! They fit everything you need and more. The cabinet color pairs beautiful with a natural wood. So we used that in the open shelf and a drying rod, it also compliments the woven shade.
There’s this beautiful hand formed brick tile on the walls that we’re obsessed with it, and it will probably make an appearance in the McGee’s home. We paired it with a great patterned tile floor.

What kind of paint did you use to pain the cabinets? I know the color is StoneyBrook BM, but is there a specific formula for cabinet paint?
So so lovely! Would you mind sharing the name of the tile? I’ve been on the lookout for something just like this. Thank you!
What material is the brick tile made from?
Beautiful, as always! Question – there is a washer, a dryer, and a…. ? What’s that 3rd appliance in there? Thanks!
I’m guessing it’s a second dryer–if so, great idea!
Long time admirer, first time commenter! This laundry room is EVERYTHING! You and the team have such a great eye, when I win big my entire house will be a McGee & Co project. Keep up the fab work!

The nicest, most welcoming and dusty colored laundry room I’ve seen in a while. Guys, I seriously LOVE IT! The combination between the cabinet color and wall tile is genius as they coordinate so well together ? Oh, and the styling is on point here. Awesome job!
Most amazing way to make doing laundry the most desiresbke chore of the day! Love this finished renovation.
Absolutely beautiful and incredibly efficient! I have been a big fan of yours for a few years now and as a builder myself, I appreciate your projects so much. I’m building my house right now and have found that decisions are substantially harder for me to make than they are when guiding my clients. Love the green (doing Sherwin Williams Hardware with matte gray quartz counters in my utility) and love the tile even more! Would love to see more posts about how you decide on certain materials and if there are go-to vendors. Keep up the seriously beautiful work!
We’re so glad you like it!! Thank you so much for your support!! Xoxo
Gorgeous!!! Yet another inspiration piece for wgen we redo out home!
Amazing to hear!! Good luck with your new home, Lori!!
Love the backsplash – any idea where they are from?
Everybody has asked about the backsplash/wall tile? Please share I can’t find any responses.
I’ve been looking for something similar and subtle .
