We had the pleasure of working on a home in the Park City Showcase with a local builder, Killowen Construction to create this beautiful showcase in Red Ledges, Utah.
It’s located right outside the quaint town of Heber and surrounded by a picturesque mountain setting. This post is sponsored by our friends at Legrand.
For this spec home, we’ve been a part of the process the entire way. From walking through framing, to working with the team on tile layout, to working with an on top each other during the install getting it ready for the showcase. It’s been quite a journey to get it all done and love how it looks.
Exterior

The Red Ledges Community has strict regulations and restrictions to keep the mountain feel in the neighborhood. You can’t paint the exterior, and have to stick with stains and stone. The modern garage door was the perfect compliment to the rest of the rustic details. The double doors create a grand entryway.

Entrance
When you walk in you’re greeted by the most beautiful wood floor with a custom pattern. The floor installer might hate us, but we love how it turned out. It really brings the space to life in the most natural way. We topped it with some rustic elements like a hide, a side table with reclaimed wood and iron, as well as a charming stool.

We’ve found that mountain home communities tend to be ultra modern, or overly rustic so we wanted to create something in between. We wanted it to feel traditional, fresh, and rustic. We incorporated a beautiful chandelier that has a traditional, but streamlined feel to it. Shop Farlene Chandelier.
We used the Adorne Collection by Legrand for the outlets and wall plates in this room. It’s that final detail that really elevates the space. They have reinvented with wheels with sleek switches and outlets that provide a new level of performance. The custom parts of a home always make it feel personal.

Office
Speaking of custom, we had these steel doors created for the moody office space.

In dark rooms, outlets and light switch covers also tend to stand out. Here, we used Legrand’s radiant collection, which offers homeowners a screwless, clean, low-profile design. Plus, it comes with a lot of safety benefits and added function—which is perfect for families like mine! All outlets feature a low-profile, stylish design for a more tasteful, timeless aesthetic at an affordable price-point.

Our Morelia Rug is hand-knotted, with the most beautiful design. The pattern brings character to the space without being overbearing. The gray color keeps with the moody vibe in the space, but feels like a lightweight neutral.

Kitchen
Of course, the kitchen has a special place in our hearts. Where do we even start with this one?

The first thing you see are the massive lanterns, then your eyes take in the textured brick that wraps the room as well as the mixed tones on the cabinets, dark countertops, and that stunning French range. The plaster and wood hood completes the look.

Throughout the kitchen we inserted the radiant LED night lights, with hidden sensors to control the amount of light. It’s complete the new Radiant Wireless Charger! It’s the first of its kind, instantly providing a new way to charge your phone. You simply just slip it into the holder for wireless charging. It’s so convenient for charging when you need to read a recipe, look up measurements, or make a quick call.

We designed our Williamsen counter stools exclusively for McGee & Co., and this kitchen was the perfect place to show them off. They have a wooden seat and metal legs, complete with a strap detail that reaches around the back with a brass accent piece. Shop here!

We brought an extra-long vintage rug to pair with the wood tones. The coordinating open shelves are brought to life by a library light. Our peonies’ artwork illuminates the shelves in the most beautiful way.

Dining & living
To bring all the wooden tones in the home together, we created these wooden trusses that carry from the kitchen to the living room.

We had enough space between the two rooms to include a long dining table. It’s got a beautiful wood tone, so we contrasted that with dark chairs. To create an eclectic, but streamlined look, we changed the chairs at the head of the table, but kept them in the same finish! Their build is wider than the other chairs, so they also ground the space.

Bring an open wall to life by arranging our Round Cane Rattan Trays in a pattern, like so. Shop here.

The living room has this gorgeous sofa that will be on McGee & Co. soon! We brought in rustic elements with the coffee table and rich leather x-stools. Textural lounge chairs and rustic accessories like bells, and this vase are complemented with a soothing landscape art piece. The rug has calming tones, but the hand-knotted texture that keeps the space feeling vibrant.

The earth tones in this artwork bring out all the elements and textures in this space. Landscapes elongate the walls, making the space feel large and open.
