Our clients moved from Southern California to Austin, Texas and had some adjusting to do.
Their home had a Texas traditional theme, but they wanted to bring in their California bohemian style. They had a lot of great pieces, really cool style, and a ton of books we had to make room for.

We covered the walls in the master with dark grasscloth wallpaper, so we chose large furniture pieces in light colors and used a leather lucite bench to keep things warm. We kept things simple and clean by using neutral bedding and one statement throw pillow. We added a modern light and a four poster bed for structure and visual interest.

The cozy nook was created as a reading area for the client and her kids. It’s perfect for a bedtime story or an afternoon nap.

Our client has collected so many pieces and needed a bookcase to display her treasures. We threw in some McGee & Co. and greenery to liven the space.

We really wanted some California in this room. The vintage rug was the most important part, so we pulled the pinks and blues from the rug and incorporated them into the space with the pillows and throw. Our client found the amazing vintage botanical prints at a flea market in Austin! To balance out all the vintage we used simple bedding and modern nightstands. This room needed a desk, so we added a woven chair because it’s got those light and airy bohemian vibes.

We styled this little nook with some of our favorite eclectic pieces to create a found look.

Looks so nice, specially the master bedroom with its moody walls. I wonder, why are the nightstands so, so high in proportion to the beds in both bedrooms? Was this done deliberately? Is this actually something that is acceptable in the interior design world? I fear it throws off the overall look :/
Awesome job, guys, nonetheless. Hope you may answer my concern as I have been seeing this in a few of your projects. Thank you in advance.
Hi Sarah! Thank you! It’s all about personal preference. We could add a box spring and make the bed taller but sometimes clients prefer no box spring so it makes the nightstands a little taller!
Love this! Can you share the source for the leather sofa?
Love it all! Fabulous! Could you share the source for the ceiling fan in the living area?
Beautiful! Can you share the white wall color?
Where are all the books? I wouldn’t describe the visible books as a "ton", so I imagine they are hiding in the cabinets?
Would you mind sharing the source for the grasscloth wallpaper?

Can you please let me know where you got the chair in the master bedroom and the larger chair in the living room?!
When using whites as the wall colors do you use a complimentary white on the trim and ceiling or the same color in a different sheen. We are redoing our older home that was damaged from a water leak starting in the basement and main floor with upstairs to follow. Ive followed you for a long time and love your style but a painter is coming tomorrow and I am as confused as ever.
I’d also love to know the answer to this! beautiful combination you’ve used
Love the coral pillow on the bed! Where is that one from if you can share. Thanks!
Would love to know where I can get that coral wreath above the bed! LOVE!
How is the other wall in the guest bedroom decorated? Was it left blank?
Hi there! This is probably so random but I would love to know what your go to color for all over carpeting is? These rooms seem to have a pattern to it. Love that it’s a bit different! Thanks so much! Xoxo
