A year ago we gave you a small tour of our studio.
Recently, the studio was featured on Rip and Tan, which forced us to finally reshoot the space! It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a while now, especially as we grow and evolve. Because of what we do, we’re always switching out different artwork and accessories, so make sure to check out the current McGee & Co. products we’ve used in the office at the end of the post!

Although the studio gets plenty of natural light from our lined windows, we love our Eugene Brass Pendants so much we added them to the office! They bring added dimension to the space and amplified lighting to get work done.

I love the little nook that Syd and I share together. We emphasized the height of the space with tall drapes and made the office feel like our little corner with collected art.

Our custom built-ins and natural wood ladder were made by Christopher Scott Cabinetry. We use the built-ins to store the hundreds of samples we have, and it does the job flawlessly. We painted it in Platinum Gray by Benjamin Moore.

Our conference room sees a lot of action throughout the day. Whether it’s being used for meetings, phone calls, brainstorming sessions, or grabbing a quick snack, people are always coming in and out.

The best thing about this room are our design boards. While we’re constantly adding and mixing things around for inspiration, they’re doubling as an ever changing art piece.

My favorite part of our open area are these styled shelves. We’ve filled them with some of our favorite McGee and Co. products, so even when the space gets cluttered with shipping boxes and extra product the chaos still has a pretty backdrop.

Shea, this is stunning! Your team is so blessed to have such a beautiful and inspiring place to work. Do you mind sharing the source of those gorgeous black chairs in your conference room? So, so pretty.
Awesome place to work! Could you please share source of the curtain fabric?
Wondering that same thing too! So pretty!
The drapes are made with Zak and Fox "Pom" fabric in Byzantine.

Thank you!
What a beautiful space (as always)! The chairs around the white table in the main office–are those the Tatum Chairs from your shop? If so, any chance you’ll be selling the same finish in the future?
Love it! Although I’m not sure if the photo of the powder room should be there?? Anyway, do you mind sharing what kind of wood you used for your flooring? And how is it holding up from all the traffic and normal wear and tear?
Thank you Olivia! Yes, the powder room is the studio bathroom so it’s part of the tour! Hallmark Floors is the brand, the style is Alta Vista Laguna. Holds up great!
I was so inspired by your space – it is gorgeous! What a dreamy place to get to go to every day and work. I ordered your office chairs – hope that you like them. I recently redid my office space in my home and was looking for something like this, with such a reasonable price I thought I would give it a try. Love your blog!
The chairs rock, I hope you love them Heidi!! Thanks for reading!!
Love the chests with open shelving at the top – where are they from? Thanks!
Love the studio! How do you guys organize the Sample Library? I see you use baskets, but how do you organize the fabric swatches to wood + tile samples, etc. Thanks in advance!
Your office is the DREAM work experience. How lucky your employees are! Will you please tell me where to find cute hooks like you have pictured on one of your pin boards? That are cute and strong enough to hold a coa? I have been looking everywhere and haven’t had ANY luck!
This office space is just so beautiful! What a peaceful and beautiful place to work! I just read the article on Rip and Tan, and – oh my goodness – I have "The Gifts of Imperfection" on my table now! I started reading it a few days ago!! I absolutely love every single project you do, and never miss a webisode. What a treat they are! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
That’s amazing! Isn’t it the prettiest?! Thank you for your sweet words!
