Today we’re so excited to show you how we collaborated with homeowner Paige on her remodel

– she has a really distinct personal style and it really shows through in the casual, cool result. Paige’s space is very minimal, but the natural details and wood finishes really warmed it up. The theme of wood and matte black in an open floor plan really reflects a modern, Scandinavian style.

The chairs in the living room are vintage and customized with a natural, earthy pattern from Eskayel. The pattern plays in perfectly with the textured wood and the rest of the blues in the room.

We love seeing a modern take on all wood cabinetry in the kitchen. The lack of hardware is very clean and modern. For styling, we kept things functional and simple — staying true to Paige’s aesthetic.

We styled with accessories that complement the modern feel. Achieving a balance between minimal and decorated is hard, so we stuck with simple products. The concrete brush holder adds a rustic, industrial touch, while the canisters can be filled with convenient ingredients that also complement the neutral color scheme. When going minimalist, you always want to be thinking about function.

The bathroom’s frosted window is designed to take advantage of the tall trees around the home, while still providing privacy. The larger hex tile is an updated look for the classic penny hex tile. It adds dimension while staying within the white, wood, and matte black color palette.

The woven jute rug in the bathroom is full of texture and earthy colors, working as a neutral while making a statement. It pairs perfectly with the hand towel.
