Denver Tudor Webisode

Check out our newest webisode!

The day has finally come — we are ready to share our Denver Tudor Project!

We started this project last year and worked with our friends from college to give their cute old home a major facelift inside and out. This project proves that good design can be found in homes big and small — with an emphasis on small! We partnered with Benjamin Moore to completely change the look of the home! The Cement Tile Shop added pattern and character with the kitchen and bathroom floor. With brand new window treatments by the Shade Store, we took each room to the next level with a polished, upscale look. Serena and Lily’s couch perfectly paired with the Nina chair from Article for an casual eclectic vibe in the living room. See more of the details and check out our latest webisode!

      1. Thank you!! I seriously can’t get enough of your style … everything is so beautiful, yet incredibly functional. Feels so homey 🙂 !!!

  1. I have never not loved your work! Like seriously! It’s all just so beautiful. I’m curious as to the size of the subway tile or the source of the tile. Thanks!

  2. This is just amazing! Can you tell me where you got the curtains in the dining room from? or the name of the fabric? Thanks!

  3. Beautiful! The copper downpipes and gutters though– geeeeezzzz! Yummy….adding that to my dream house list now 😉

  4. This is absolutely a dream. Our house is a very… bland cookie cutter stucco Suburban home in California. Your blog and Youtube videos are the stuff of dreams!

  5. Love this! And I always love following along! Do you mind me asking where the two stools in the living room are from?

  6. The whole project is a big WOW. For 13 years I have wanted to paint my front door a colour like this one but have struggled with (paint chip x a million) + sunlight. Will you share the front door colour please?

  7. I am absolutly dying right now. You and your team are miracle workers and I am so far beyond impressed. You and your team bring so much light and happiness into every home and space you touch. You truly have a gift and I wish I had you helping me. I am building my dream home after renting for 17 years. Thank you for sharing your talent! Truly beautiful and amazing.

    1. Heather we are so touched by this comment! Your love and support truly means the world, and we are so grateful! Your dream home sounds amazing, so excited for you! Xoxo

  8. Absolutely beautiful! What is the square footage of the house? You made a small space look big and very liveable.

  9. I haven’t watched this yet but I will…….. soon, one more hour to go!!
I want to let you know how much joy you give me from the other side of the world ( I’m from Scotland but living in Singapore)…… these webisodes are like such a big big treat for me. I know it’s there all day but I will not watch it in any old quick 5 mins. i have to wait until I have given my son a bath, put him to bed and have peace and quiet to enjoy it…… all your work is just incredible but your webisodes bring it all to life and I love seeing you and your family and staff……. you’re just all so adorable and the chemistry between you and Syd is so endearing….. I am a total addict so please never stop these, love your work. Thank you

    1. This is so sweet! Your kind words mean the world, and truly make our day. Thank you so much for your support, we appreciate you more than you know. Xoxo

  10. This may be my favourite reveal to date!! Well, it’s tied with Vineyard & Lynwood! Always amazing! Are the curtains in the dining room Susan Connor Temple?

  11. Loved seeing your work applied to a smaller home. I’ve always admired your projects from a distance as an If-I-Ever-Win-the-Lottery dream home, but seeing this project makes good style and design seem so much more attainable/approachable even if I don’t have a huge, spacious house! Thank you!

  12. Soooo good! Love it – just wanted to let you know there’s a typo in the heading "introducing the new classics" – forgot the "c" in introducing – wanted to let you know because I know you’re perfectionists 😉 Keep up the great work!

  13. Can you provide where the windows were sourced? It looks like they are new but fit so well with the style of the house.

  14. Oh my goodness. This is so very beautiful!! I have been following you on Instagram for about six months. I have learned so much from your design tips and videos!! Now I’m addicted to your blog! This is my favorite post so far. What an amazing, beautiful makeover. So happy for the owners of that special place you have created for them!!

  15. Very nicely done! I too would like to know where you sourced the windows? Were they "replacement" windows? I’ve only found replacement windows with white or beige interiors.

  16. What color did you paint the fireplace? Also, what Benjamin Moore paint did you use and what sheen for each of the rooms?

    1. Gray Owl by Benjamin Moore! We say the name of each paint color, and have a graphic right below the video in the post that lists the color in every room!

  17. I love love love your work and especially this reveal! Are the ceilings 8 ft? We are currently renovating a home with 8 ft ceilings… the one thing we can’t really change. I would love to hear your tips on how to make a house with 8 ft ceilings seem taller and more spacious. Thanks!

  18. I think this might actually be my favorite project you’ve ever done– so much charm packed into a small footprint. Question: I see the door hardware throughout the house have different finishes. I would love to do Brass on my front door, but I have Oil Rubbed Bronze mortise throughout my house that I love. Can I get away with it? I know certain companies can customize a different finish for the exterior handleset hardware and then interior, but I’m feeling that’s a little cheesy. Help!

  19. Which Benjamin Moore paint and sheen was used on the exterior of the home? Working on having our Brick painted!

  20. I love everything you do, and this website showing what you use in your project is the best thing ever, paint colors and furniture is just great .

  21. Wow! What a cute home. One of my favorite design jobs you’ve done. Really appreciate all the tips and sourcing, it helps many folks who will never be able to afford your design services, but wish they could. What a lucky friend!

  22. Hi, I just saw a video of this remodel on youtube. Couldn’t agree with the comments below more! So lovely and a great refresh on the home!! I have a question: Where / what company are the the bathroom and kitchen fixtures from? We’re currently renovating our 1914 English Tudor and finished one bathroom remodel with Brizo fixtures. Love, love, love the bedroom colour…. this is the shade I think we’ll use in our study. Thank you so much for sharing!! 🙂
